  1. Hey dude I've been on the edge of getting it or not I've grinded through Blue, Crystal, Ruby, Leaf green (remake of blue/red/yellow) Diamond and Sun. All awesome games. I love and agree the fact of buying Lets Go just for the fun of it. Also the graphics are they best they've ever been just look at Yellow compared to Let's Go very insane I'd get it just for that experience. Also I love that they used the same characters from the cartoon from back in the day

  2. I've been a fan since the start and played almost all games but I will probably just skip the Let's Go games. I can't say I like it visually and the general gameplay just don't seem fun to me.
The covers for both of the games are excellent though! I absolutely love those.

  3. I was in high school when Pokemon came out and I've been playing them ever since. However the past few generations just left me underwhelmed. I've only been purchasing the one version instead of both, or multiples, as I used to. I'm only doing one playthrough whereas I used to go through multiple times. I even skipped Ultra Sun/Moon completely as well. However I preordered Let's Go Eevee despite not owning a Nintendo Switch yet because something about it just speaks to me.

I don't know the reason but I'm looking forward to this game even though I don't care for the Kanto region. It just looks good and fun to me. The game seems to have a lot of heart and soul to it and some of the recent generations just didn't seem to. They seemed to be lacking something that I feel Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee has. So that's why I'll be buying Pokemon Let's Go Eevee.

  4. Im getting both the game and the Switch edition, im very happy with the idea of this game being just to chill and having a good time with my pokefriends, i also play pokemon go so this is a good match for me.

  5. Well Nintendo were always straight up about this game being for a more casual audience, generally aimed at kids that don't have smart phones and are unable to play Pokémon Go, with the main series Pokémon RPG coming sometime next year for the more hardcore fans like myself.

Now I've played these games from Kanto to Alola, along with almost every spin-off Pokémon game there has been, this one will be no different and I'm excited for it honestly and obviously I had to go for the edition with the Pokéball peripheral just because I'm a huge Pokémon nerd and I wanna be throwing around my balls like it's 1998 😎

  6. Third gen was a great gen! I started as a wee little kid, so the nostalgia is Huge for me. DreamcastGuy has a great video and this was a great response
We need more of these in the community

  7. I think saying these games are bad because of its to easy etc, doesn't make much sense to me, cause Pokemon always had been really easy. I played almost every game, I'm a huge fan, since I was little. For me Pokemon is more about collecting etc and not the "challenge" cause let's be honest, Pokemon was never challenging, it always had been something that should be accessable for kids too. Idk for me Pokemon was always about more than just the challenge so why saying 'oh now it's easy, now I don't want it', because it always had been totally easy

  8. This is way I’m buying it too! 👍🏼
I’m a hardcore fan & im always buying spin-off titles (few I couldn’t). I want something different from original & this is it. It’s been a while that Pokémon got away from original btw.

  9. While I've never cared much for PvP, I loved Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament back in those days. You had one or two buttons to shoot, one to jump, and that's about it. I do have Battlefield V on pre-order, but games like these are too complicated for my taste. I love the simple days of Quake 3 Arena and Unreal Tournament. They were so simple. Just grab a weapon, aim and click a button to shoot. That's about it. The most complicated game mode I remember was capture the flag. Now we have small armies with half a billion gadgets and classes running around and driving vehicles, while trying to accomplish all sorts of confusing objectives to win. Which is fun, but I really prefer the simpler days.

Same goes for fighting games. I love Injustice 2 and Soul Calibur 6, and I'm really looking forward to Dead or Alive 6. But that said, I do miss the good, old days with Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat 2. Those games were a ton of fun to play, because they ere so simple to play. Perhaps SF2 especially. Back then, we had six buttons (three punches, three kicks), and various super moves. That's it. Now we have reversals, counters, super moves, EX moves, super EX moves, and who knows what. It's almost like we need to read a 400+ page manual just to get through the move list for one character.

And that's why I'm looking forward to Let's Go Eevee. I mostly hate Pokemon, and think it started out as one of the worst scams in gaming history. What other series could possibly get away with leaving content out of one game, just so you can sell two near identical versions of the same game at full price? And yet, Let's Go Eevee looks like so much fun to play, and is much simpler than the regular Pokemon games. Simple can sometimes be better. It lets us focus a lot more on simply enjoying the game, and not spend hours learning the mechanics.

  10. For this game I was just "meh" but as soon as I seen it was multiplayer I pre-ordered it right away for I want to play with a buddy, I always have someone coming over every weekend. Even though I play Pokemon every few games and this is a great way to get friends into games that aren't into Pokemon normally. This is a nice break game while I wait for my big games and looks charming.

If showing support for this game shows that I want co-op Pokemon games in the future thats cool also.

  11. I think it should be a 40$ game. Same old story not really a remaster just slightly improved graphics…more of a 3ds port. Ill let someone else buy it and see for myself lol

  12. I played pokemon green on the original game boy as a kid. Now as a grown ass man I am 100% addicted to Pokemon GO. I feel like this game was made just for me. I’m gonna play it with my daughter and create some good memories.
